You are watching: 2004 hyundai elantra fuel filter location
Greetings, I”m thinking of replacing my fuel filter and I have no idea where it is located. I looked on the HMRA site and they don”t specify where it is. It says in the owner”s manual to replace it after about 4 years or 100 000 kms. The 2 aftermarket dealers where I tried to buy one, didn”t even list one. Is it a dealer item?Should I even worry about replacing it?Any comments welcome!PS: Does anybody know where I can get a Service Manual (Clymer, Haynes etc.) for my 2004 Elantra? Nobody here in Canada carries it.Thanks
The fuel filter is located in the tank and you have to take the rear seat bottom out to access it. There are instructions on the net for step by step procedures.
If this link doesn”t work, email me through the address in my profile with your email address and I”ll send it to you.
Thank You for the link, Doohickie. These instructions are awesome. Actually I bookmarked the whole website, it seems to be very informative. Thanks again for your help :liebe011:
